THE THIRD MILLENNIUM CUT: AN EFFE TRE FLAT DIE


The flat dies are still used in a great many production processes for self-adhesive labels, as label stamping machines with a flat bed cutting unit are currently still the most widespread type on the Italian market.

Since launching our challenge over 10 years ago, we have constantly developed and improved our product range, introducing new parameters for production and quality; parameters which are now being taken up by other manufacturers who have followed our example, imitating but never equalling us.

In order to obtain these results, it is essential to pay great care to the choice of materials used, dedicating particular attention to the selection of the most appropriate cutting blades for the cutting of all self-adhesive materials; we are able to offer our experience and complete collaboration for the quest for the best solution for all stamping problems.

Our continual research on the international markets also results in the continual updating of the range of cutting blades available.

- STANDARD : the classic blade for paper materials

- LATERAL: lateral chamfer for hard plastic materials

- EXTRA HARD: more durable blade for paper

- SUPER CUT: special sharpening for soft plastic materials

- DUROFLEX: more durable for polythene and polypropylene

- TOPDUR: the most recent; exceptionally hard for PE and PPL.

Perforation inside the labels, micro-perforations, creasing, raised perforations for the cutting of the liner and lowered blades for the cutting of composite materials complete the very wide range, permitting the perfect cuttings of up to three different cutting depths in a single flat die.

A brand new cutting unit for testing flat dies is in use in our workshop, and enables us to carry out cutting tests on all types of self-adhesive materials, including that supplied by the customer if required, with an adjustable cutting pressure in the range from 0 to over 300 atm.
